Acceptance and Service Overview
Welcome to FanficLab, a service for turning fanfiction scenes into audio drama from text and related creative inputs. By accessing or using FanficLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to use the service.
- You may need an account to access certain features.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
- You must notify us promptly about unauthorized access or other security incidents involving your account.
Acceptable and Prohibited Use
FanficLab allows you to submit fic scenes and related creative inputs, create audio drama performances, and purchase subscriptions or credits. You agree to use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.
You may not use FanficLab to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- upload, generate, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or violently graphic in violation of applicable law or platform rules;
- interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, probe, or bypass the security or integrity of the service;
- use bots, scraping, or automation in a way that harms the service or other users;
- attempt to access another user's account, data, or outputs without authorization.
Your Content and Rights
- You retain ownership of the fic scenes, instructions, references, uploads, and other materials you submit to FanficLab.
- Subject to applicable law and these Terms, you are responsible for the content you submit and for reviewing audio drama outputs before using or sharing them.
- You grant FanficLab a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transform your content solely as needed to provide, operate, secure, maintain, and support the service.
FanficLab Intellectual Property
FanficLab and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, including the website, software, workflows, visual design, branding, logos, documentation, and underlying systems, other than your content and any rights in outputs that these Terms expressly grant to you.
Payments and Refunds
- Paid features may be offered through subscriptions, recurring plans, credits, or other purchase options.
- By purchasing a paid plan or credits, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and related amounts.
- If a paid plan renews automatically, you are responsible for recurring charges until you cancel.
- Plan features, prices, credit allocations, and billing terms may change over time. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
- Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
Service Changes and Termination
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if your use violates these Terms, applicable law, or creates risk for the service, our users, or third parties.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FanficLab disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Audio drama outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FanficLab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.
Terms Updates
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FanficLab after the updated Terms become effective means the revised Terms apply to your future use of the service.
